Annual Fund
We are pleased to announce that our 2018-19 Annual Fund is underway and we have received an incredible response to this point. The Annual Fund provides unrestricted funding that will be used for this school year's operating costs such as:
- Bridging the gap between tuition and the actual cost of a Catholic education today.
- Providing tuition assistance.
- Increasing technology advancement.
- General operating expense.
- Financing ongoing facility enhancements and upgrades.
- Offering the best learning environment possible.
The Annual Fund is the cornerstone of all educational fund raising for the schools and will ensure that Bishop Fenwick School and Bishop Rosecrans High School are operating at their fullest potential. The Catholic Schools of Zanesville initiated the Annual Fund to provide instructional resources, ongoing teacher and staff training, enhancements in science, math and technology, maintenance and beautification of the school, and funding of resource staff. Your investment in the Annual Fund ensures an affordable, quality, Catholic education for future generations. We ask that you prayerfully consider making a generous donation.
Question: Why do the Catholic Schools of Zanesville have an Annual Fund?
Answer: Annual Fund contrbutions are the foundation of financial support for our schools. Donations to the annual fund are utilized for the greatest needs in the current yearly operating budget, helping to sustain and improve the schools in all areas, such as, supporting the faculty, helping meet operating expenses and maintaining our buildings and grounds. Annual Fund contributions are applied directly to expenses during the fiscal year July 1- June 30.
Question: What is our goal for this year’s Annual Fund?
Answer: Our goal for the 2018-2019 Annual Fund is $95,000. More importantly, we have a goal of 100% participation from each of our families. Please join us and help us reach 100% participation from the entire school community.
Question: Why should I give to the annual fund when I already pay tuition?
Answer: Tuition alone does not cover the cost of educating a child at The Catholic Schools of Zanesville. After tuition, the largest source of yearly income is the Annual Fund, making it vital to the schools financial health.
Question: Where can I see my contribution at work?
Answer: Everywhere our students and their teachers are at work! Some other areas that are supported include tuition assistance, athletic upgrades, technology upgrades and religious activities.
Question: Why is a gift of any size important?
Answer: Every gift is important, regardless of size. What you give is up to you; the important thing is that you give. We welcome and appreciate all gifts, no matter the amount. Every gift helps us reach our goals. Every dollar counts!
